Frequently asked questions

We undertake rigorous safety testing and work with Trading Standards to ensure that any claims we make about our products are 100% accurate. Paddy's bathroom products are safe for babies' skin. They are also suitable for sensitive skin, and also for skin which may be prone to eczema.

Are Paddy's Bathroom® products suitable for sensitive skin?
Paddy's Bathroom® products have been clinically tested and found to be safe, kind and mild for skin, and suitable for sensitive skin. All formulations are dermatologically tested and paediatrician approved. Of course, you should discontinue use if a rash, irritation or redness occur.

Are your products suitable for people who have eczema?

Paddy's Bathroom products have been clinically tested and found to be safe, kind and mild for skin, and suitable for skin which may be prone to eczema. This means that if your child is prone to eczema, Paddy's Bathroom products will not cause new eczema to appear.

It is really important to remember that bubble baths and washes are not medicines, and cannot treat existing eczema. If your child does has active eczema then our advice is to bathe your little one in warm water alone until such time as their skin is clear, and follow the advice of your GP.

Are Paddy's Bathroom® hair products safe for eyes?
Paddy's Bathroom® Hair and Body Washes have been ophthalmic tested and found to be safe and tear free for eyes, but if eye contact does occur flush out with clean warm water.

Do Paddy's Bathroom products contain Sulphates, SLS, Parabens, Phthalates or GMO ingredients?
No. These are not ingredients that we use in our formulations.

Why are your products not 100% natural?
We have formulated our products with 98% natural ingredients. The other 2% is made up of safe synthetic ingredients. Most of this 2% is preservatives. Preservatives are very important in baby toiletries because they stop bacteria from being able to grow inside the products. This is particularly important for little ones who often have bumps and scratches from playing and exploring the world around them. Bacteria must not be allowed to grow in products that we apply to little one's skin. We also use some safe synthetic fragrances in our bubble baths to make them smell lovely. These make up less than half a percent of the finished product.
